Thoughts
The one and only Tim Stones, totally unique in so many ways. A joy to be around, funny, smart and always looking for fun, you just couldn’t help but love him. He played a major part in my life, bringing me and Caroline together and always there with advice, a joke and a bottle wine. He will be missed but remembered fondly by everyone that knew him. God bless Tim.

Intelligent, funny, generous.
I had just left Diana’s hospital bed, she had undergone a serious operation to put right a life threatening issue. I was in shock, I did not want to go home to an empty house, I knew our friends were meeting at the Bailiwick Pub at Englefield Green.
They were all concerned for Diana and asked about her treatment, at the end of the evening everyone was leaving and Tim came over, seeing I was still distraught he immediately said “you are coming home with us”, he knew I had not eaten and offered one of his famous everything in the fridge cook ups in a single pan!
I had a wonderful evening with Tim & Sue. Much needed company, food, wine & staying over on their sofa. I will always remember his kindness, his generosity, his humour, his remarkable ability to see beyond the spoken word to recognise feelings and to act unselfishly on the spur of the moment.
